In part 3 of this series from 2 Corinthians 5, Pastor Mike emphasized that the responsibility of reconciling people back to God lays on us as the church, and was entrusted to us even though the church consists of humans with faults & failures. We are ambassadors for Jesus, and we need to evaluate how well we do in that role. We are encouraged that even though we have all had failures, we have been made worthy to be the ambassadors for Christ.

Similar to the way magnets are attracted to each other and metal objects, our old selves were attracted to certain things, while our new selves are attracted now to the things of God. This message gives us hope that we can be have our friendly relations with God restored (reconciliation) because Jesus paid the price for us on the cross!
